Last friday myself and my partner went and drove out to Enchanted Rock for the day. We left midday and took Turkey Pass trail all the way around the base of the mountain, ending with a hike up the steep southwestern side. This was a preparation hike for me, for a trip that I will be taking later this month. We saw all sorts of animals, most notably a pair of ringtails scrounging around about halfway down the summit trail.
